Team WE (WE) vs Dominus Esports (DMO)

First important thing to note is that Teacherma is playing in place of Plex for WE. He is a rather unknown player with only a few preseason games under his belt, and they were rather average performances to say the least.

Most people are just jumping on WE again, and I remain with the fact they are severely overrated. They are a very average team who have a couple great performances and a few terrible ones. With a pretty unimpressive mid lane roster change I like Dominus in this spot. HOWEVER, there isn't a huge gap between the two teams, but in a close matchup like this, the little things help you to pick a side.

Dominus has had a deceptively weak start this season. You look at their record and think they are terrible, but they have a tough stretch of games so far. They were a decent team last year, finishing 6th in the regular season during Spring, and that roster is still mainly intact. Xiye was, in theory, a good upgrade to their midlane, he hasn't performed up to standards just yet. I think he will make a difference eventually. They are priced cheap on DK and are the top GPP option for me on this slate.

Advantage to : DMO

Players to watch (DMO): Xiaopeng, GALA, xiye (sub threat)
Players to watch (WE): Beishang, Jiumeng, Missing

This being said, while I prefer DMO as the winner and the slightly better GPP option, WE is still absolutely viable. This is a close game at the end of the day and it could swing the other way as well, don't completely write them off. Don't put all your eggs in one basket.

Invictus Gaming (IG) vs LGD Gaming (LGD)

IG are still IG, what this means is that they have a history of being a very up and down team, despite how skilled they are. They will randomly punt games and series away against teams that are definitely worse than them, and that can be frustrating at times. What makes me feel better about that tonight is that Leyan is playing, he is not the volatile player that Ning is, and usually leads to a more consistent game when he is playing. IG are absolutely the better and more skilled team here, but they often end up just playing with their food too much. I still like them tonight though.

LGD are a hard team to judge, they looked very good in their last set against TES, but I just can't bring myself to thinking that they would be able to consistently do that to better teams. IG may treat them as a toy and punt them a game, which is why there could be some merit to using LGD tonight, but personally I wouldn't bank on it. Take a swing if you want in deeper field GPPs, but I wouldn't call it likely to be a home run.

 Advantage to: IG

IG may not get the 2-0 if they do some classic IG stuff, but even if they are playing around with LGD they can rack up some serious points to offset that.

Players to Watch (IG): TheShy, Puff, Southwind

FunPlus Phoenix (FPX) vs Suning (SN)

FPX are ramping up into form, and when Doinb is on his game, you should be running for the hills if you are facing him. GimGoon coming in has really flipped the switch and made their team better all around. It wouldn't surprise me to see Khan step in here and there because they spent so much to get him, but I think GimGoon is the main man from here on out. FPX is a team to be feared again.

Suning has been hot recently. I wouldn't say they have faced the best competition, but BLG and EDG aren't exactly bottom of the barrel teams. Their fantasy scores have been extremely high during these last few games, but I don't expect that to continue vs FPX. Suning use their Janna top sort of cheese pick to really take over games with a scaling midlaner and teamfighting composition. I think FPX is wise enough to force them into a standard comp, and from there Suning is very mediocre.

Advantage to: FPX

People are going to look at the box scores for Suning and probably wet their pants, I am saying this is an anomaly and based upon the back of a slightly cheesy pick. I wouldn't even put FPX past allowing it through bans and beating them anyway, but if it's removed I just cant see Suning holding up on even terms.

Players to Watch (FPX): Doinb, Tian, Lwx

These games should be fun to watch and the slate will have plenty of variety as far as builds go. Safest/Most optimal build is FPX/IG. DMO and WE are both good GPP options depending on who you think wins. Good luck to everyone playing tonight!
