It is a bit pricey tonight with some of the salary on teams, and lineups can be a bit challenging to make. There are a couple potential upsets that I can see happening, and that makes things a little tricky. I like what I have come up with in my core lineups and I hope some of you reading may join me! Click to enlarge. It has been a little while since I have posted on the blog! I have been working very hard on my core lineups that I sell. They have had great success so far, and I plan on keeping that constant. I would always love to see new faces join us on the path to victory! That being said, we have a nice little LCK slate here. The first week of games since Rift Rivals has ended, and LCK were proven to be a highly skilled region again with their victory. 2 of the participants from LCK will be playing tonight, and they have both improved from that international experience. I expect LCK to be better as a whole due to this, and this is exciting for future international competition. Good luck to anyone playing the slate! NA Academy LCS Quick Picks Happy 4th of July everyone, I know a lot of you are busy and may not have time to get too much esports done today, so I will keep it quick. Just going to list my picks to win and who to target from those games with a quick description. GGA vs FOXA Very close game between similar strength teams. With Echo Fox, they have some skilled players for Academy such as Lourlo, Fenix, Lost but the problem is I never fully know their starting roster, as it is not always announced ahead of lock. GGA are a pretty good academy team in my opinion, they have former LCS players and are overall a very good roster. My slight lean in this game is GGA. Pick: GGA Players to target: Palafox, FBI, Darshan C9A vs CGA I love targeting C9A in academy, they play fast and aggressive, and even in losses they rack up points from constant skirmishes. Lots of different ways to go as far as lineups are concerned. EU and NA pretty much trolled their Rift Rivals and did not take it seriously at all, but I expect this one to be different. Asia Rift Rivals 2 Notes Thursday June 4 These are quick notes for the second rift rivals slate of the early morning. This is a 2 game slate. The content for the main slate with 4 games are up in a separate post. 6:20 AM ET (2 Games) EVS vs TES A lot of how I view this game should depend on the first game EVS plays against DWG. They are heavy underdogs in that game also and if they show any potential for an upset then maybe they have some opportunity to win games in this tournament. I do not think that will happen in this game however. EVS is the 2nd team coming from the VCS form Vietnam, and they are relatively unknown as far as international competition goes. I think they are mostly outmatched at this tournament and most likely won't do too well. TES are one of the best teams in China and I expect to them to do well in this tournament. They have a very strong jungle/mid duo with Xx and Knight, and their bot lane is no slouch either. I think they should ...

Rift Rivals Notes Friday June 28 Draftkings has once again given us two slates.One at 3 PM ET and another at 5PM ET. Both two game slates. 3:00 PM ET (2 Games) TL vs G2 G2 came out of the gate swinging in the first game of Rift Rivals against C9, they completely and utterly dominated C9, making quick work of NA's second best team . The game was even won against a "broken" Sona/Taric bot lane and it was not even close. G2 played their style and completely shut down any hope that C9 had for that game. While I don't expect the same level of dominance against a better team in TL, I struggle to find a way that G2 can lose this one, they are one of the best teams in the world and are showing it once again against North America's best teams. TL are not typically the type of team to cheese an unorthodox strategy, so playing traditionally does not help them. TL is clearly the best North American team at this event (not saying much). Rift Rivals Notes Thursday June 27 Draftkings has split up Rift Rivals into 2 slates, one at 3:30 PM ET and one at 5:30 PM ET. I will be going over each of these slates individually with my personal picks to win and who to target from those teams.  3:30 PM ET (2 Games) C9 vs G2 G2 are heavy favorites in this match and for good reason, they just won MSI (the last international tournament) and have been performing very well in their native region so far. They have skilled players and good play-makers in every role.  They win games fast and they get lots of kills while doing so with plenty of unique picks and strategies. A very diverse and well-rounded team overall.  C9 are usually North America's (NA) best hope in international events like this, they always seem to perform well even when overlooked in most circumstances. I do think that they can win this game. C9 has plenty of unique styles and picks of their own, and can potentially surprise G2 ...
